Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear sister/brother ### in prayer. We thank you for their faithfulness and their desire to seek your guidance and protection in the midst of the challenges they are facing. Lord, we ask that you surround them with your divine presence and cover them with the Armor of God, as they have put their trust in you.
Father, we pray for peace to reign in their life. We know that you desire for them to be still and allow you to fight their battles. Help them to surrender their worries and anxieties to you, knowing that you are their ultimate defender. Your Word reminds us in Exodus 14:14, "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still."
We also pray for their enemies, Lord. We ask that you would touch their hearts and bring them to a place of repentance and understanding. Help them to see the error of their ways and the harm they may be causing. We echo the words of Jesus on the cross, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." May your love and grace transform their hearts.
Lord, we thank you for the reminder that revenge belongs to you and not to us. Help us to release any desire for vengeance and instead, trust in your perfect justice. Your Word teaches us in Romans 12:19, "Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, 'Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.'"
We lift up this prayer request to you, knowing that you are a God who hears and answers prayers. May your peace, protection, and wisdom be upon our dear sister/brother ###. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
