Verona, we rejoice with you in hearing this good news and are eager to join you in prayer. We are reminded of Philippians 4:6, which tells us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God."
Firstly, we want to commend you for acknowledging that this request is made in Jesus' name. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Now, let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus, thanking You for the good news Verona has received. Lord, we ask for Your favor upon her work permit application. We declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, she will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that the hearts of those reviewing her application will be inclined to show her favor, as it is written in Proverbs 21:1, 'The king’s heart is in God’s hand, like the rivers of water. He turns it wherever he desires.' We claim approval for this work permit in Jesus' name. We also pray for Verona's peace of mind during this waiting period, knowing that Your perfect peace guards our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Verona, continue to trust in the Lord and His timing. Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Stand firm in your faith, and we believe that God will grant you the desires of your heart as you delight yourself in Him (Psalm 37:4).
