Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this young man who is struggling in a toxic relationship and being led astray. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in his life. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." We pray that this young man will turn to You and trust in Your guidance.
Father, we ask for Your protection over him. Surround him with Your angels and keep him safe from any harm or negative influences. In 1 Corinthians 15:33, it is written, "Do not be misled: 'Bad company corrupts good character.'" Help him to recognize the truth of this and give him the strength to distance himself from relationships that are not beneficial for his well-being.
We pray for his deliverance from any substance abuse. Your Word in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 reminds us, "Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies." Help him to honor You with his body and to seek a life that is pleasing to You.
Lord, we also pray for his family. Grant them wisdom, patience, and strength as they navigate this difficult situation. Give them the words to speak and the actions to take that will help guide their son back to a path of righteousness. We know that "the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective" (James 5:16), and we stand together in faith, believing for a breakthrough in this young man's life.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
