Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother Epistreykos and his son Renier Swartz. Lord, we acknowledge that You are the ultimate source of healing and deliverance. We bring Renier before You, who is struggling with drug abuse, and we ask for Your intervention in his life.
Lord, we pray that You would break the chains of addiction that have bound Renier. Your Word says in Isaiah 61:1, "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound." We declare freedom and deliverance over Renier's life in Jesus' name.
Father, we ask for Your grace and mercy to surround Renier. Pour out Your love upon him and draw him close to You. Help him to recognize the destructive nature of his addiction and grant him the strength to turn away from it. Your Word assures us in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." Provide Renier with the way of escape from this bondage, Lord.
We also pray for Epistreykos, who is burdened by his son's struggle. Comfort him, Lord, and give him wisdom and discernment in how to support and guide Renier. Strengthen their relationship and grant them open lines of communication. May Epistreykos be a source of encouragement and hope for Renier, pointing him towards You and Your healing power.
Lord, we know that nothing is impossible for You. We trust in Your faithfulness and ask that You would bring complete restoration and transformation to Renier's life. May he experience the abundant life that You have promised in John 10:10, where it says, "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly."
In Jesus' name, we pray for Renier's deliverance, healing, and restoration. May Your grace and mercy overflow in his life. We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for the victory that is already won through Jesus Christ.
