Heavenly Father,
We come before You with humble hearts, lifting up our dear sister Anonymous and her relationship. Lord, You are the author of love and the foundation upon which all relationships should be built. We ask for Your divine intervention in this relationship, that it may be strengthened and grounded in Your truth and grace.
Your Word says in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." Lord, let this kind of love be the cornerstone of their relationship.
We pray that her partner's heart be softened and that he may realize the depth of love she has for him. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." Guide them both to trust in You fully, submitting their relationship to Your will.
Lord, we ask for Your grace to be upon them, that they may be better for each other, loyal, and committed. May he be moved to introduce her to his family and to consider the sacred commitment of marriage. Remind them, Father, that in Ecclesiastes 4:12, it is written, "Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." Be that third strand in their relationship, making it strong and unbreakable.
We pray for Your precious hands to be upon him, guiding him to realize his love and commitment. May they both seek to honor You in their relationship, making You the center of their lives together.
Lord, we trust that You have a perfect plan for them. Surround them with Your holy presence, and let everything in their relationship be centered around You, the Holy God.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
