Alales
Disciple of Prayer
Good afternoon, everyone. I don't know how many reading this might have been impacted, however if you are familiar with the area of Chattanooga, TN, then you might remember the tornadoes from Easter 2020. Our home was damaged pretty badly, and so we moved out for several months while it was being repaired. In the interim, there are some pieces of jewelry I lost and never got back. These pieces are very precious to me, because of the memories attached to them, not because of their monetary value. Some pieces were my Mom's, whom we lost a few months prior to that event. There were rings and earrings of hers, some from my husband, and a pair of earrings my husband bought. I found out later he'd stood out on the bitter cold in line on a side walk, to pick them up on "Black Friday" 2020. He had pneumonia that Thanksgiving! I was so mad at him, but treasured them because of his effort. There's a necklace I got for Christmas the year our daughter was adopted. There's a ring I got the day the Columbia went down. It was a birthday present. As you may be able to tell, I am very sentimental. When we moved back into our house, my jewelry which we'd packed, was never found. I'm devastated. Can I ask for prayer; that God would help me to get these back? It's not about the stuff. It's about their meaning. Thanks, I really appreciate it. I truly do. God bless.
