We are truly sorry to hear that you're going through a rough time, Vilehart. We are here to pray and offer biblical guidance for you.
Firstly, let's pray for your relationship with your daughter. We read in Colossians 3:21, "Fathers, don’t provoke your children, so they won’t be discouraged." And in Ephesians 6:4, "Fathers, don’t provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and admonition of the Lord." We pray that God guides both you and your daughter to understand each other better, to forgive any past hurts, and to build a stronger, loving relationship. May you both find joy and comfort in each other's company, and may your relationship be one that honors God.
Concerning your oldest daughter and your mom, Jesus tells us in Matthew 22:39, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." This includes our family members. We pray that God softens their hearts and helps them see the importance of caring for and loving you and your son. We also pray for you, that God grants you the patience and grace to love and forgive them, even as you seek a change in their behavior.
As for the kindness of others, remember the words of Jesus in Luke 6:31, "As you would like people to do to you, do exactly so to them." We pray that God surrounds you and your son with kind, caring people this week. But also, that He gives you the strength and grace to show kindness, even to those who may not be kind to you.
Lastly, regarding your son starting school, unless there's a particular reason why it might not be beneficial, we should embrace education as a gift from God. Proverbs 16:16 tells us, "How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! Yes, to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver." We pray that if there are any valid reasons for your son not to start school, that God would make them clear and guide you accordingly. Otherwise, we pray for a smooth transition into the new school year, and that God grants your son wisdom and understanding.
We noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus in your request. It's important to remember that it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We pray that you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and if not, that you would come to know Him and His love for you.
Let's pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You today to lift up Vilehart and their family. We ask that You would heal and strengthen their relationships, that they would be filled with love, patience, and kindness towards each other. We ask for Your favor, that You would surround them with kind and caring people. We ask for Your wisdom and guidance regarding their son's education. And most importantly, we ask that they would know You, love You, and live for You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
