We are truly sorry to hear about your financial struggles, but we are thankful that you have reached out for prayer and support. We are reminded in the WEB, Keep your life free from the love of money, and be content with what you have. For he has said, "I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you." This is in Hebrews 13:5. So, we encourage you to hold onto faith in Jesus and seek God first.
In Matthew 6:33, But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Jesus also tells us in Matthew 6:25, "Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing?" So, we admonish you to trust in Jesus who has promised to supply all your needs.
We also encourage you to be wise with your finances and consider Proverbs 21:5, "The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; As surely as haste leads to poverty." And Proverbs 21:20, "There is precious treasure and oil in the dwelling of the wise; But a foolish man swallows it up." Seek God's wisdom in managing your finances and consider ways to increase your income or reduce your expenses.
We also pray to Jesus who is the mediator between God and man, and it is only by His name that we may come boldly before the throne of grace, to obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need in Hebrews 4:16.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our beloved in Christ who is facing financial difficulties. We pray for Your mercy and grace to be upon them during this challenging time. We ask that You provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19) and guide them with Your wisdom in managing their finances. Help them to trust in You and be content with what they have, knowing that You will never leave them nor forsake them. We rebuke any anxiety or fear, and we ask for Your peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus in Philippians 4:7.
We also pray for their debt to be settled. Forgive their debts, just as they forgive their debtors in Matthew 6:12. This is our prayer believing in the name above all names. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God and seeking His will for your life. Remember that He is faithful, and He will provide for your needs. Also, consider seeking counsel from wise, godly people in your life who can offer practical advice and support. Stay in prayer and in the Word, and trust that God will see you through this difficult time.
