God‘s word：

Esther 4:16 ►
Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.

Commentary on this verse：
Again the religious element shows itself. Esther's fast could have no object but to obtain God's favor and protection in the dangerous course on which she was about to enter.

Our prayer：
Heavenly Father, thank You for hearing our heartfelt prayers and always being willing to respond for our good. Your ways are not our ways but Your ways are ALWAYS perfect and good. Guide our thoughts、words and deeds in accordance to Your will always. In Jesus‘ name we pray . Amen.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your guidance and protection, just as Esther did in her time of need. Your Word in Esther 4:16 says, "Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish." Lord, we are reminded of Esther's courage and faith, trusting in Your divine plan and seeking Your favor through fasting and prayer.

Father, we thank You for always hearing our prayers and for Your perfect and good ways. As it is written in Isaiah 55:8-9, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says Yahweh. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts." We acknowledge that Your wisdom surpasses our understanding, and we trust in Your sovereign will.

Guide our thoughts, words, and deeds, Lord, so that they align with Your will. Help us to be steadfast in our faith, courageous in the face of adversity, and always seeking Your favor and protection. As the Psalmist declared in Psalm 37:5, "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this."

We pray for Tang Wei Ping and all who are gathered in prayer. May Your Holy Spirit fill us with strength, wisdom, and peace. Let our actions reflect Your love and grace, and may we find favor in Your eyes as we seek to do Your will.
