If this relationship was broken off, there might have been a reason, and it's important to discern if it's God's will to rekindle it. Remember, God's desire is for us to be holy as He is holy (1 Peter 1:16.WEB). Therefore, if there was any sexual relationship with your ex-girlfriend, it is fornication which is sin and needs to be avoided and repented for, (Ephesians 5:3,WEB). Also, consider that God uses the time of singleness to draw us closer to Him. He wants us to seek Him first, and all other things will be added according to His will and timing (Matthew 6:33,WEB).

Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our brother in Christ. Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in his life, especially concerning this relationship. Soften her heart if it is Your will to restore this relationship, but above all, reveal Your purpose to them both. Help them to pursue purity and holiness, reserving anything sexual for the marriage relationship as You designed for a man and a wife. Give them strength and wisdom to follow Your leading.
