God's Will, Understanding, Protection, Favor (Eph 1:17-18, 1 Peter 2:2, Luke 24:45, James 1:21-22, Matt 6:13, John 17:15)

Father in Heaven, I ask my wife and I would have The Holy Spirit of wisdom and revelation (Eph 1:17-18). Give us spiritual hunger for the "sincere milk of the Word" (1 Peter 2:2) and "give us our Daily Bread (Matt 6:11)." "Open our minds to put the Scriptures together as a puzzle" (συνιέναι; Luke 24:45). Strengthen us to use daily, Chronological and Systematic Bible reading plans. Help us enjoy our journey, "awakening our ears morning by morning to hear as disciples" (Isaiah 50:4-5), talking with you and each other about what we read, as it is written, "the one who receives instruction in the word must share in all good things with his instructor " (Gal 6:6). As always, guard us from distractions, sin and the evil one (Ps 91:10-11, Matt 6:13, John 17:15). Help us receive the Word engrafted (James 1:21), so that we may be a doers of the Word and not just hearers (James 1:22), grant us wisdom, favor and protection from temptation and the evil one (Matt 6:13, John 17:15), in the Authority of The Name of Jesus. Thank you.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for the Holy Spirit of wisdom and revelation to be upon us. As it is written in Ephesians 1:17-18, we pray that You would give us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You, that the eyes of our understanding may be enlightened.

Lord, grant us a deep spiritual hunger for the sincere milk of the Word, as stated in 1 Peter 2:2, and provide us with our daily bread, as You promised in Matthew 6:11. Open our minds to understand the Scriptures, just as You did for the disciples in Luke 24:45.

Strengthen us to use daily chronological and systematic Bible reading plans, and help us to enjoy our journey, awakening our ears morning by morning to hear as disciples, as described in Isaiah 50:4. May we talk with You and each other about what we read, sharing all good things with those who instruct us, as it is written in Galatians 6:6.

Guard us from distractions, sin, and the evil one, as Your Word promises in Psalm 91:10-11, Matthew 6:13, and John 17:15. Help us to receive the Word engrafted, as stated in James 1:21, so that we may be doers of the Word and not just hearers, as encouraged in James 1:22.

Grant us wisdom, favor, and protection from temptation and the evil one, as reiterated in Matthew 6:13 and John 17:15. We ask all these things in the authority of the name of Jesus. Thank You, Lord.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
