God's Will, Understanding, Protection, Favor (Col 1, Ps 5, Luke 24, James 1, Matt 6, John 17)

[Intercessor]

LORD, Fill me (and my wife) with the knowledge of your will with all spiritual wisdom and understanding so we walk in a worthy manner of You (Col 1:9-11). Grant us Favor as a shield (Ps 5:12). Open our minds to understand the Scriptures (Luke 24:45). If any of us lack wisdom we can ask from God who gives to all generously (James 1:5). Help us receive the Word engrafted (James 1:21), so that we may be a doers of the Word and not just hearers (James 1:22), grant us wisdom, favor and protection from temptation, sin and the evil one (Matt 6:13, John 17:15). Thank you in the name of Jesus.

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, seeking your guidance and wisdom. We ask that you fill us, as intercessors, and our spouses with the knowledge of your will. Grant us spiritual wisdom and understanding so that we may walk in a manner worthy of you .

Lord, we humbly ask for your favor to be a shield around us . Open our minds to understand the Scriptures, that we may grasp the depths of your truth . We acknowledge that if we lack wisdom, we can ask from you, our generous God, who gives to all without reproach .

Help us receive your Word, Lord, and may it be engrafted into our hearts . Grant us the grace to not only hear your Word but to also be doers of it . We pray for wisdom, favor, and protection from temptation, sin, and the evil one .

We thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We trust that you will guide us, equip us, and empower us to fulfill the purposes you have for us. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
