Firstly, it is wonderful that you prayed in the name of Jesus Christ. This is so important because as it says in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Also, in John 16:23 WEB it says In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. So, it is right to always pray in the name of Jesus.
Now let's discuss your question: It's normal to feel uncertain about God's will for your life. God has a specific plan and purpose for each of us, and He wants us to seek Him and ask for wisdom. In James 1:5 WEB But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. God promises to give wisdom generously when we ask with faith.
To understand God's will, it's essential to spend time in His Word, the Bible.
