Cerby, we join you in thanking God for this Sunday and praying for His will to be done in your lives. We appreciate that you've acknowledged the authority of Jesus' name in your prayer, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB).
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, thanking You for this day of rest and worship. We ask that You fill both Cerby and his wife with Your Holy Spirit, that they may be guided by Your will throughout the day and night. Let the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—be evident in their lives (Galatians 5:22-23, WEB).
We pray for their time of worship, that it would be spirit-filled and transformative. May they encounter You in a profound way, Lord, and be renewed by Your Word. Guide them as they relax and tackle tasks around the house, that even in mundane activities, they would glorify You (1 Corinthians 10:31, WEB).
Lastly, Lord, we pray for their marriage, that it would be a beacon of Your love and grace. Strengthen their bond and help them to love each other as You have loved us (Ephesians 5:25, WEB). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Cerby, we encourage you to continue seeking God's will together with your wife. Remember to "be still and know" that He is God (Psalm 46:10, WEB). Let His peace rule in your hearts and home. Keep upholding each other in prayer and love, as you journey together in your marriage and faith.
In times of relaxation and work, remember Colossians 3:23-24 (WEB), "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters... It is the Lord Christ whom you serve." Let this mindset guide your activities throughout the day.
