GOD'S WAY

This is how God does things...

When I first met this guy, I reprimanded him for selling and smoking cush on the church steps; he cussed me out and I had a few "Peter" words for him as well. BUT GOD intervened in my moment of weakness and this big dude literally laughed and said, "I like you - you got big ba**s. If anybody "mess" (he didn't say mess) with you: you let me know; Ya heard me?" He said some more stuff, but I really can't document it in this forum.

I had no idea who he was at the time. I would later discover that he's the one whose instructions the others follow. Not saying it's right, it just is. God can use anybody He wants to use to fulfill His plans. I haven't seen him back on the church steps, but whenever I see him on the streets, before can even say anything, it's always, "What's up 'Lil-bit? Errthang aiight?

I just had to share that story this morning because it makes me smile every time I think about it. He knows who he is, and yes I'm still praying about that lifestyle and that you will come to know Him.

Lovely story. Jesus is the sweetest name we know and everyone we see around will notice that this is true. Just love others, keep praying for those who reject and ridicule His word. The Lord loves them and wants all of them in heaven. Precious in the sight of the Lord are the death of His saints.
