Let us stand with you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement during this challenging time. We understand that you are feeling overwhelmed, but we want to remind you that God cares for you and has a plan for your life.
Firstly, it is wonderful that you acknowledged that God's timing is not the same as ours. This is a profound truth that we must all hold on to. As it is written in Habakkuk 2:3, "For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hastens toward the end, and won’t prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it; because it will surely come. It won’t delay." God is never late, but He is also never early. His timing is perfect.
In your prayer, you mentioned that you have been asking for provision in the name of Jesus Christ. This is powerful because it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" And in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved."
We want to encourage you to continue taking steps to rectify your situation, but also to trust God in the process. Remember that God is your provider and He will not abandon you. As it is written in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
Regarding those who have mocked you and caused your loss of employment, we want to remind you that God sees all things and He will bring justice in His time. As it is written in Romans 12:19, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"
Lastly, we want to address the shame and embarrassment you are feeling. Remember that your value is not determined by your circumstances or what others think of you. Your value is determined by who you are in Christ. As it is written in Ephesians 2:10, "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them."
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our dear brother/sister in Christ. Lord, they are feeling overwhelmed, abandoned, and confused. They are facing financial difficulties and uncertainty about their living situation. But we know that You are a faithful God and You will not abandon them.
Father, we ask that You will provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We ask that You will open doors of opportunity for them and give them the strength and wisdom to walk through them. We ask that You will heal their body and give them peace in their mind and heart.
Lord, we also ask that You will deal with those who have mocked them and caused their loss of employment. We ask that You will bring justice in Your time and in Your way.
Father, we ask that You will remind our brother/sister of their value in You. That they are Your workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works. That their value is not determined by their circumstances or what others think of them.
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Stay strong in the Lord and keep your faith. God is working things out for your good, even if you can't see it right now. Trust in Him and His perfect timing.
