God's protection over my life

I need prayer for God's protection over my entire life and to focus on God more and the word to be more in my life thank you for praying

Let's begin by thanking God for the individual who submitted this request and their desire to draw closer to Him. We are reminded in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB to be "casting all your worries on [God], because he cares for you." It is wonderful to know that this person is seeking God's protection and a deeper focus on Him and His Word. God's Word is our guide and our source of strength, but it must be read and studied to be effective. In Psalm 119:105 WEB it is said, "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in Jesus' name and we ask for Your divine protection over the life of the person who submitted this request. You are our refuge and our fortress, our God in whom we trust. We pray that You will guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

They have expressed a desire to focus more on You and Your Word. We ask that You will give them a hunger and thirst for righteousness. Let them delight themselves in You and Your Word. Give them a passion for it and may they meditate on it day and night.

We rebuke any spiritual forces that may be hindering their spiritual growth or distracting them from fully committing to You.

Lord, we know that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can come to You. We ask that You will be their strong tower, the One whom they run to and are safe.

We pray that You will give them a greater understanding of who You are and of Your love for them. Give them a greater revelation of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We believe that it is only by His name that we can be saved.

We thank You for the promise in Your Word that You will never leave us nor forsake us. May they find comfort and assurance in knowing that You are always with them.

Give them the strength to live according to Your will and to walk in Your ways. May their life be a testimony to others of Your love, grace, and faithfulness.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage them to spend time daily in God's Word, asking for the Holy Spirit's guidance and revelation. We also encourage them to be in fellowship with other believers, for it is through the encouragement of one another that our faith is strengthened.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
