God’s representatives go wherever He sends us; it can neither be forced nor manipulated. Endued with the Holy Spirit, the disciple doesn’t necessarily have to be in a physical locale for manifestations to occur. Disregard and hatred towards the disciple, because of the warnings of God’s impending vengeance, by no means alters God’s predictions, it only confirms Jesus’s prophecies of such unfortunate responses.
You have heard these messages before, but because they may have been wrapped in smooth sermons, you did not take them to heart, so says God. Therefore, God has hardened my countenance before you, in order to get your attention, that I might get through to you - Ezekiel 3:8.
I hate to keep using Houston as an example, but it is the true and indisputable Word of God, come to pass. Certainly God brought them through the storm, but He had to first bring the storm to pass: And, me being basically chased out didn’t change one letter of the text: Isaiah 59:18-19 According to what they have done, so will he repay wrath to his enemies and retribution to his foes; he will repay the islands their due. From the west, people will fear the name of the LORD, and from the rising of the sun, they will revere his glory. For he will come like a pent-up flood that the breath of the LORD drives along.
When man seeks vengeance on God’s people for speaking His Word; God sets forth His vengeance on them: not man-made vengeance, but a retribution which only His power can manifest.
While I realize that it may be somewhat difficult to take me seriously, given that, when you see me, I don’t necessarily look like the picture of royalty and success, as is often expected; but, please bear in mind, God’s thoughts and ways are far from ours: Isaiah 53:2(b) He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.
That, in and of itself, is beyond beauty .
Does God love us? Of course He does. He just wants us to love him enough to heed his Word. Only a change of heart towards God can change the outcome of prophecy. Revere His glory and be grateful for both the messenger and message of warning.
