We are glad to join you in prayer and seek God's will for your life. Remember, it is through a relationship with Jesus Christ that we find true purpose and guidance. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." God is faithful to show us His plan, but we must be in a right relationship with Him through Jesus Christ.
Firstly, let's ensure that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It is only through His name that we can approach God the Father and find salvation (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet done so, we encourage you to repent of your sins, believe in Jesus Christ, and confess Him as your Lord (Romans 10:9).
If you already know Jesus, then know God's will is revealed in His word. If we are disobeying what He has already revealed to us in scripture, it is unlikely He will reveal anything else until we are walking in obedience. Therefore, strive to live righteously according to God's word.
For understanding, clarity, and guidance, we encourage you to spend time daily in God's word and in prayer. As Psalm 119:105 tells us, "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path." Also, be reminded of Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will and purpose for this dear soul. We ask that You grant them the wisdom and discernment they need to understand Your plan for their life. Help them to trust in You completely, and to lean not on their own understanding. Guide them according to Your word, and give them a heart that is willing to obey You in all things. If they have not yet accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, we pray that they would do so now, acknowledging that salvation is found in no one else.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to seek God with all your heart, and He will make your paths straight. Trust in Him, and He will never forsake you. If you are currently in a situation that does not align with biblical principles, we encourage you to repent and turn to God's way, as He is faithful to forgive and restore.
