We are glad you are seeking God's plan and needing a good understanding, clarity, and guidance. It is wonderful that you are turning to God for these things. First, let us remember that God's ways are perfect and that His plans are always to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future. We know this as God says in Jeremiah 29:11-13 WEB, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart."
God does tell us in His word, however, that the wisdom of the world is foolishness with God. God tells us in 1 Corinthians 3:19 WEB, "For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, 'He has taken the wise in their craftiness.'"
Understand that just because we think something is wise in our own eyes does not make it wise with God. We must trust in the Lord with all our heart, and not lean on our own understanding. As we know in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Let us pray for guidance and clarity in your life. Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today in Jesus' name. We thank you that you are a God of wisdom and understanding. We pray that you will guide us and make your plans clear to us. We pray that you will give us clarity and understanding that only you can provide Heavenly Father. We pray that you will open our eyes and ears to your will and purpose for us. We pray for patience to wait on your timing and that you will order our steps according to your will. We also pray that you will put a hedge of protection around us to keep us from those who may not have our best interests in mind. We pray that you will give us discernment to recognize ungodly counsel and to lean on you. We thank you that we can trust in you and be confident that you will make our paths straight. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We do not see you mentioning the name of Jesus in your request. It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Jesus said in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." As we also know in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" It is so important to only seek God by the name of Jesus Christ. If you do not know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, it is important to recognize that you are a sinner and repent from your sin. Believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins, and that he was buried and rose from the dead. Only then will you be saved.
