We are glad to pray and seek God's will with you regarding your need for understanding, clarity, and guidance. We are reminded in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Firstly, it is important to acknowledge God in all our endeavors and trust that He will direct our paths. We must also remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). Therefore, we need to humbly submit to His will and seek His wisdom.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, seeking Your will and guidance for our brother/sister who needs clarity and understanding. We trust that You have a good, pleasing, and perfect will for their life (Romans 12:2). Grant them the wisdom that comes from above (James 1:5), and help them to see their situation through Your eyes. Guide their steps and help them to walk in Your truth. We ask this all in Jesus' name, Amen.
In seeking God's plan, be encouraged by the words of Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." God has a purpose and a plan for each of us, and we can rest assured that His plan is to give us a future and a hope.
To ensure you are in God's will, you must first have a relationship with His Son. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father. If you haven't already, consider reading John 3:16 (WEB) "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." This simple yet profound message is the core of the Christian faith. By believing in Jesus Christ, we are saved from our sins and brought into a right relationship with God. We also have access to God's will and guidance when we pray and seek God's will.
