Seluraem, we are here to pray with you, the Bible teaches us that our Heavenly Father already knows our needs before we ask, but He wants us to come to Him in prayer. We are instructed having a consistent and faithful prayer life is vital as it's a form of communicating with God regularly. We should rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and give thanks. in every circumstance ; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for us. So we encourage you to be faithful in your prayer life. Remember as 1 Thessalonians 5:17 WEB tells us, "Pray without ceasing."
Regarding the biblical principles of relationships, marriages should honor God. We encourage individuals to pursue relationships with an intention to honor God and to be guided by His will. These relationships should be looking for a spouse since marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. It is only through Christ that God's grace and blessings both be present in any marriage. We discourage sexual relations outside the confines of marriage as they are not in line with what is taught in scripture. As we read in 1 Corinthians 7:2 WEB, "But because of sexual immoralities and how they work within man's lustful heart, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband."
If your marriage or daily living is feeling troubled, our hearts are with you. It is important to lean into God and seek His will together. Jesus prayed for His disciples in John 17:11 WEB, "Holy Father, keep them through your name which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are." God wants us to remain united in love, as it glorifies Him. Wherever you are in your marriage and prayer life we will meet you there and encourage you. Keep pouring love, patience, understanding, God's grace and guidance into your family relationships.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Seluraem's prayer life and marriage. We pray that You will strengthen their faith and help them to be steadfast in their prayers, putting their trust in You. Guide them in their relationship, and help them to honor You in all they do.
If there are any areas where Seluraem falls short of Your will, speak to their heart, and help them to turn back to You, seek Your forgiveness. Grant them wisdom, patience and a love that leads to obedience to your Word. Help them see the covenant they made with their spouse and the power of 'Three Strand Cord'. Give them insight to 'Love' and the patience to 'press' into your will.
Lord we pray too that Seluraem made sure of their salvation and relationship with your son Jesus Christ. As it is Jesus who has made available the power and indwelling of the Holy Spirit to help with understanding, freedom and enablement to walk in a life of obedience, it is Jesus who has made available this access to Almighty God. In Jesus alone we are saved, and we come to the Father on Jesus behalf.
We pray all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
