We join you in lifting up these requests, seeking God's will and His kingdom first, as instructed in Matthew 6:9-13. This is only possible and acceptable through our Lord Jesus Christ as no one comes to the Father except through Him.
Firstly, we pray for your job search, asking God to grant you a new job with a base salary plus commission, paid training, and benefits. We pray that your applications, introductions, resumes, and interviews result in a solid hire and smooth onboarding. As Ecclesiastes 3:13 reminds us, everyone should eat and drink and take pleasure in all his toil—this is God's gift to man. We pray for knowledge and wisdom from God to learn the remote job quickly, produce quality work, and receive payment promptly. As Daniel 12:4 assures those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. We are confident that the LORD will answer your prayers for a new job when you call on Him because James 1:5 also assures us that if any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
Next, we pray for God's power and protection over your local area. We ask that the Holy Spirit convict your neighbors, local students, teachers, workers, fishermen, basketball players, law enforcement, and local leaders of righteousness, sin, and the coming judgment. As Jeremiah 29:7 encourages, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper. The Holy Spirit will convict of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment because Jesus has said, Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. We pray that God will draw them to Jesus and grant them saving faith in Him. John 6:44 assures us that no one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day. It is only by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast.
Finally, we pray for a wall of fire around your area, protecting it from harm and evil influences. We stand on Zechariah 2:5, which declares, For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her. We also claim Psalm 91:10-11, which promises, There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. We ask God to protect your area from harm and evil influences, keeping it in all your ways.
