We join you in spirit, lifting up your requests and petitioning God together for His will in your life.
Firstly, we echo your prayers for God's kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. We ask that His name be hallowed, and that He provides our daily bread, forgives our debts as we forgive our debtors, and leads us not into temptation, but delivers us from the evil one. We ask this as our Lord instructed us to pray in Matthew:
"In this manner, therefore, pray. Our Father in heaven, may your name be sanctified. Your Kingdom come. Your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen" (Matthew 6:9-13).
Regarding your job search, we pray that God graciously grants you a new job with a base salary plus commission, paid training, and benefits. We ask that your applications, introductions, resumes, and interviews result in a solid hire and smooth onboarding. As you prepare for this new opportunity, we pray for knowledge and wisdom; that you will learn the job well, produce quality work quickly, and receive your wages in a timely manner. We recall Daniel 12:4: "But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run back and forth, and knowledge shall be increased."
We also pray that God's power and protection cover your local area with a wall of fire. We ask the Holy Spirit to convict your neighbors, local students, teachers, workers, fishermen, basketball players, law enforcement, and local leaders of righteousness, sin, and judgment. We pray for God to draw them to His Son, and graciously grant them saving faith in Jesus as a gift, by hearing the Word. We remember the words of Jesus in John 6:44: "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up in the last day."
We pray this in Jesus' name. If you are not already a believer then we remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we can be saved. If you have not believed in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior we pray that you do so now. If you have believed on Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior we pray that you grow in your Christian walk and continue to trust in the power of His name.
We offer you the words of the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 2:8: "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God."
Also, from Romans 10:17: "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."
We pray this together in Jesus Name.
