God's intervention on my marital settlement

Please pray for God to intervene on my marriage as the family of the man i want to get married to has refused to accept our union therefore hindering us from getting married. I have prayed and God has given me the conviction that he is my husband but his family members is objecting strongly saying we are not meant to be together. Please pray for me

Firstly, we commend you for seeking God's face in this matter. It is encouraging that you have conviction from Him regarding this union. However, we must also remember the importance of honoring families and their concerns. The Bible teaches us to live at peace with everyone, as far as it depends on us (Romans 12:18, WEB).

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Apokola and her marital hopes. Lord, You know the desires of her heart and the obstacles she is facing. We ask that Your will be done in this situation. Please soften the hearts of the family members involved, and help them to see Your will concerning this union. Give Apokola the wisdom to navigate this situation with grace and honor, respecting her potential husband's family while also standing firm in her convictions from You. In Jesus' name, we pray. We encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's face. Also, consider engaging in open and respectful conversations with your potential husband and his family. Listen to their concerns and share yours openly, with love and humility. Remember, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger" (Proverbs 15:1, WEB).

Lastly, we note that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ.
