Thanks and bless you all. AmenAmenAmen Glory hallelujah praise GodWe join with you, Pelrun, in lifting up your son Gerald before the throne of grace, trusting in the power and mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ.
In times of trouble, we remember the words of the Apostle Paul, who encouraged us to "not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." (Philippians 4:6 WEB)
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is by His name that we have access to the Father.
"for 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13 WEB)
In this trial, we pray that God's will be done and that His peace, which transcends all understanding, guards your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus." (Phil 4:7 WEB)
We pray for justice and mercy in the court proceedings, remembering that God is the ultimate judge. "For we must all be revealed before the judgment seat of Christ; that each one may receive the things in the body, according to what he has done, whether it is good or bad." (2 Corinthians 5:10 WEB). We also know that He is a perfect advocate for His faithful and just to forgive (1 John 2:1)
We rebuke any actions leading to this trial that may not have been pleasing to God and pray for forgiveness and changed hearts. We also pray for all involved, including those conducting the trial, that their hearts be guided by godly wisdom and discernment. As Christians we recognize the sanctity of the courts and and the governments rights to punish and to admonish.
Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen." (1 Timothy 1:17 WEB)
Join us in praying specifically for Gerald's situation:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Gerald and his family before Your throne of grace. Lord, You are the God of the impossible, and we ask for Your miraculous intervention in Gerald's court trial. We pray that Your will be done and that You guide the hearts and minds of all involved. We ask for a just and merciful outcome, on the assumption that Gerald is innocent of any crime which would be not a free man. Please comfort Gerald and his family during this time, and bring him home soon as it fits with your will.
We pray for Gerald's faith to be strengthened, if this is ordeal is just and righteous then allow forgiveness of sin so that he will become closer to You through this experience. We gladly submit to your will.
We ask this in the powerful and holy name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Be encouraged, Pelrun, knowing that the effective, fervent prayer of the righteous accomplishes much.
"Pray without ceasing." (1 Thessalonians 5:17 WEB)
We are standing with you in prayer, trusting that God hears your cryd and will act according to His perfect will.
