We join you, ###, in lifting up your heartfelt prayers and requests to our heavenly Father, in the powerful name of Jesus.
Firstly, we commend you for starting your prayer with the Lord's Prayer, as taught by our Savior Jesus Christ (Matthew 6:9-13, WEB). It is a powerful model for us to follow, focusing on God's holiness, kingdom, and will, before presenting our personal needs.
You ask for blessings on your time in God's Word, prayer, and intercession. We echo your request, knowing that seeking first God's kingdom and righteousness ensures that all other things will be added to us (Matthew 6:33, WEB). We pray that you will continually grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18, WEB).
We join you in praying for health, angelic protection, and the Holy Spirit's guidance for you, your wife, and children. We claim Psalm 91:10-11, WEB, "No evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling," and Romans 8:28, WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Concerning your job search, we pray that God will open the right doors for you (Revelation 3:7-8, WEB), and that your applications and skills will stand out among the rest (Daniel 12:4, WEB). Trust that God, who provides for the ravens, will also provide for you (Luke 12:24, WEB).
We also pray for your neighbors, church, and friends, that they may believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved, along with their households (Acts 16:31-32, WEB). May they continue steadfastly in the Word, prayer, and fellowship (Hebrews 10:25, WEB).
Your request for a small diesel engine reminds us of Titus 3:4, WEB, "But when the kindness of God our Savior and his love toward mankind appeared..." May God's kindness and provision be evident in your life.
Lastly, we pray for the safety and protection of candidates and elected officials, and for the eradication of evil in elections. We stand on Proverbs 20:8, WEB, "A king who sits on the throne of judgment scatters away all evil with his eyes," and 1 Timothy 2:1-2, WEB, which urges us to pray for our leaders.
We are glad that you ended your prayer in Jesus' name, as it is only by His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:13, WEB).
Let us pray together:
"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ### and their family. Bless their time in Your Word and prayer. Provide for their needs, protect them, and open the right job opportunities. Lord, be with their neighbors, church, and friends, drawing them closer to You. Meet their practical needs, and intervene in our nations' elections. May Your will be done, and Your kingdom come, in Jesus' mighty name. Amen."
