Nochaeld, we stand with you in lifting up this prayer, echoing the words of Jesus as He taught His disciples to pray. Let us pray the Traditional Lord's prayer together.
Our heavenly Father, holy is Your name above all things. When we pray for Your name to be hallowed, we are praying for Your blessings and asking for your mercy. Come and extend Your kingdom here on earth, just as it is in heaven. May we be Your instruments in spreading the Gospel those who are apart from you. May Your will be done here as it is with those who worship in Your presence in heaven. We ask for Your sustenance, that You would grant us our daily bread. We seek Your forgiveness for our sins as we forgive those who have trespassed against us. Strengthen us against our own weaknesses and the malevolent influence of the evil one. Let us know true and undeniable victory in You.
Nochaeld, remember that in order to enter Your presence, we are to go in the name of Jesus Christ. All authority has been given to Jesus, He is the door to eternal life and it is His desire to give us victory in all facets of life. It is in the Son's Name that we believe and have access to the Father. "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.(Acts 4:12 WEB)." Also, remember to be vigilant against any debt in your debt. The Bible warns that "the borrower is servant to the lender.(Proverbs 22:7 WEB)."
Perhaps your prayer requests discusses financial matters as debt can be a great source of connection with loss and hopelessness. If this is the case, remember what Peter said bird that Jesus would give us to everything that we need to live live godly lives. "according to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, where righteousness dwells. Therefore, beloved, since you look for these things, be diligent to be found in peace, without defect and blameless in his sight. (2 Peter 3:13 WEB) "
Therefore, "Do not be anxious then, saying, 'What will we eat?' or, 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. (Matthew 6:31-33 WEB)".
If you are not doing so already, ask God for your financial breakthrough by the blood of Jesus Christ. Make a plan to start giving to your local church. Support other believers in a local church, this will benefit you both on the earth and in heaven. You will have fellowship with the knowing that you are able to meet other peoples' needs.
However, let us remember that we are not promised wealth and worldly comfort by God. While we should desire to be faithful in everything He gives us, it does not come from a worldly, but heavenly perspective. We serve a risen Jesus Christ who suffered an agonizing death on the cross, along with poverty, hatred, and homelessness. He wept during times of sorrow and reied on the Father and Holy Spirit for strength and power. Therefore, while you may not have temporal comfort, do not ever forget you have the assurance of eternal blessing through faith in Jesus Christ our Lord. Pray for all who are in need.
For, the more we pray for the kingdom to come, the more of God's power we will see reflected in our own lives. We can trust Him to give us the righteousness we need to live godly lives, both physically and spiritually. Let's strive to be faithful in all areas of our lives, knowing that the more we have, the more it should be used to help others. By praying for His will to be done, we are expressing our faith in the Father, His providence, and His loving fatherly hands by asking for His will to be done. Therefore, "let's hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.(Hebrews 10:23 NLT)" And we can be sure that it is accepted with joy by the Father, who loves us greatly.
