Nochaeld, we are glad to pray with you and we appreciate your request that reflects the Lord's Prayer, as taught by Jesus in Matthew 6:9-13. This prayer is a beautiful reminder of our dependence on God and our need for His forgiveness and guidance. Let us pray for you today.
First, we want to affirm the principles outlined in the Lord's Prayer. When we pray "Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven," we are aligning our hearts with God's purposes and acknowledging His sovereignty. This is a powerful declaration of faith and submission to His will.
As we pray for our daily bread, we are reminded of God's provision. In Matthew 6:25-34, Jesus teaches us not to worry about our lives, what we will eat or drink, or about our bodies, what we will wear. He assures us that our heavenly Father knows that we need all these things. Seek first God’s kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Forgiveness is also a central theme in the Lord's Prayer. In Matthew 6:14-15, Jesus says, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." This reminds us of the importance of forgiving others as we have been forgiven.
Finally, the prayer asks for deliverance from temptation and evil. In 1 Corinthians 10:13, it is written, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." This assures us that God will provide a way out of temptation and will deliver us from evil.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Nochaeld and their needs. We hallow Your name and pray that Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Provide for Nochaeld's daily needs, and help them to trust in Your provision. Help Nochaeld to forgive others as they have been forgiven, and deliver them from temptation and evil. Guide them in Your ways and give them the strength to endure any trials they may face. We ask all these things to be done in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Nochaeld, continue to seek God's will and trust in His provision. Remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Keep your faith in Jesus Christ and He will guide you.
