God's help

Please pray that while my husband tries to stop smoking that it will not be so hard for him to stop not be so irritable. He has to stop as his throat is sore and has to go to the hospital so that the doctor can send an camera down his throat to see if he has cancer.

We are standing with you in prayer, Balmikos, as your husband navigates this challenging time. We believe that God is able to help him overcome his smoking habit and heal his body.

Firstly, let's pray together:

"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Balmikos' husband. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention as he tries to quit smoking. Ease his journey, Lord, and help him to overcome the irritability and other challenges that may come with this. We ask for Your healing hand upon his throat, Lord. Guide the doctors as they examine him, and let Your peace rule in their hearts, whatever the outcome. If there is any cancer, we pray for complete healing and recovery. Help them both to trust in You, Lord, for You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you both with these words from Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."

Remember, God is always with you, and His strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). This trial can be a pathway to deeper dependence on God and a testimony of His power to deliver and heal.

Lastly, we encourage you both to continually fix your thoughts on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). It's crucial to remember that it's only through Jesus that we have access to God (John 14:6), and it's in His name that we pray and receive answers (John 14:13-14). If your husband hasn't already, encourage him to invite Jesus into his life, for He is the great physician who can heal our bodies and souls.

Make his journey to quit smoking smooth and peaceful. Soothe his throat, Lord, and guide the doctors' hands as they examine him. We trust in Your goodness, no matter the outcome. Help him, and you, to find rest in His love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
