God's Glory, Our Needs, His Praise, Two Requests (Matt 6:9-13)

I ask for a blessed weekend with my wife, for our health and physical, emotional and spiritual care, blessed sleep, guidance & protection.
Ability to get a script renewed from my doctor here in the city before a safe trip back to our house.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and reverence. Your Word reminds us, "The earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein" (Psalm 24:1). We acknowledge Your sovereignty and give You glory, for You are worthy of all praise.

Lord, we lift up our ### and his wife to You. We ask for Your blessings upon their weekend. Grant them health in their bodies, minds, and spirits. Your Word says, "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth" (3 John 1:2). May they experience Your healing touch and restorative power.

We also pray for blessed sleep, as it is written, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep" (Psalm 127:2). May they find rest and rejuvenation in Your presence.

Guide and protect them, Lord. "The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way" (Psalm 37:23). Lead them in Your wisdom and keep them safe from harm.

We also bring before You the need for a prescription renewal. We ask that You facilitate this process smoothly and swiftly, allowing them to receive the medication they require. "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19).

Finally, we pray for a safe journey back to their house. "The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore" (Psalm 121:8). Surround them with Your angels and keep them safe on their travels.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your unfailing love. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
