God's Glory, Our Needs, His Praise, Two Requests (Matt 6:9-13)

I ask for a blessed weekend with my wife, for our health and physical, emotional and spiritual care, blessed sleep, guidance & protection.
Ability to get a script renewed from my doctor here in the ### before a safe trip back to our house.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and reverence. Your Word says, "The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want" (Psalm 23:1). We acknowledge Your sovereignty and goodness, and we lift up these requests to You, trusting in Your perfect will.

Lord, we pray for our dear ### and his beloved wife. We ask for a blessed weekend, filled with Your peace and joy. Grant them health in their bodies, minds, and spirits. Your Word assures us, "But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31). May they experience this renewal and rest in You.

We also ask for blessed sleep, as Your Word promises, "In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, make me dwell in safety" (Psalm 4:8). May their nights be restful and restorative, free from anxiety and fear.

Father, we seek Your guidance and protection over their lives. "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6). Direct their steps and protect them from harm.

We also lift up the practical need of getting a prescription renewed. We ask for favor with the doctor and a smooth process. Grant them a safe trip back to their house, knowing that "The LORD will keep you from all harm—he will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore" (Psalm 121:7-8).

Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your unfailing love and provision. We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
