We understand that you're feeling frustrated and uncertain about the settlement offer, and we're here to pray with you and offer guidance.
Firstly, it seems that the settlement offer is not acceptable to you. The first decision should be to discuss this with your attorney. 1 Corinthians 6:7 says, "It is already a defeat for you, that you have lawsuits one with another. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be defrauded?" We should be willing to compromise and reconcile, and prioritize relationships over material gain.
However, we also understand that you are unhappy with the settlement offer if it is unfair. Is it possible to find a different attorney who can help you negotiate a more fair settlement? We would encourage you to seek God's will and wisdom in this matter. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). It is possible that there are other ways to settle the case.
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, seeking your will and guidance for our ###. We ask Lord, Jesus, that you guide her through this difficult situation and help her to trust in you. Lord, we ask for a fair resolution to the dispute, for your provision and favor.
We also pray for her financial situation, that you would open new doors of opportunity. "But remember Yahweh your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth." (Deuteronomy 8:18 WEB) We ask that you guide her to the right job and home that you have for her.
As for the desire of her heart for a husband, we pray that you would bring a godly man into her life, according to your will and in your perfect timing. "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." (Psalm 37:4 WEB) Remind her that Jesus is the only one who can bring true joy and contentment.
We also pray for her health, that you would give her strength, energy, and joy as she trusts in you. "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?" (Matthew 6:25-26 WEB)
We lift up her father to you, asking for your healing touch and for skilled doctors to minister to him. We pray for his emotional well-being, that you would bring joy and stronger connections with others. "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases; who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies." (Psalm 103:2-4 WEB)
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your focus on Jesus through this challenging time. He is the only one who can bring true peace and resolution. "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." (Matthew 6:33 WEB)
