We stand with you, Tuna, in lifting up your husband, Eigbe Christopher Ehiagwina, before the throne of grace. We thank God for the institution of marriage and for the blessing it is to have a spouse to pray for and support.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, your Son, who died to redeem Eigbe's life. Thank You for Your unfailing love and the gift of marriage. Today, we bring Eigbe Christopher Ehiagwina before You, seeking Your divine protection, guidance, and good health for him. Surround him with Your favor as a shield, and may Your blessings and grace be abundant in his life. Keep him strong physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Father, light the path for his marriage and do not let anything tempt him to be tempted of his marriage. Should he be tempted, we pray that you and Eigbe's spouse will be aware of the imminent danger and both will be given the strength to resist. We ask for you to remove anything not of you.
We pray that Eigbe will walk in Your will and purpose. Guide his steps and order his path. Equipt him with wisdom, knowledge, and understanding for life's journey and for godly moral decisions that align with Your word. We ask for a renewing of his mind day by day. May he be also emotionally burdened to share his faith with others and prepared for when the Holy Spirit brings divine appointments to him. Lead him not into temptation, but deliver him from evil.
Father, we ask for your forgiveness of his sins and pray that should there be any sin that Eigbe is struggling with to release and turnover to you that you grant him freedom and refuge in your arms from this struggle. We trust that you have already forgiven Eigbe of his sins and they have been removed as far as the East is from the West.
Father, we ask that Eigbe will, as husbands are called, be spoken to and shown to love his wife as Christ loved the church, giving his life for the church as Ephesians 5:25 states. That Eigbe would also have a home of understanding to release emotions, thoughts, and life to and to show all sides of himself to.
“For this reason a man will leave his father and his mother and will be united with his wife, and they will become one flesh.” Ephesians 5:31.
We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
Tuna, continue to stand firm in faith and trust in the Lord. Be encouraged by the words of Ephesians 3:20-21 WEB:
Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to him be the glory in the assembly and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.
We also remind you of I John 5:14-15 World English Bible (WEB).
This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.
