God, I am a sinner in need of your intervention. Help me to do what please you in my life and cast away any anxiousness I may have of the future and how things are going to pan out, help me wholeheartedly surrender my plans to you and let you take control of them. I want to become a professional football player and I have aims of being one of the worlds best full-backs etc. but the most important thing is not what I want on earth but what you want for me and how many more people can get to know you the same way I already do

You've expressed a desire to please God and surrender your plans to Him. This is a beautiful expression of faith, reflecting the words of Proverbs 16:3, "Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established." We pray that God grants you the strength to trust Him completely, casting away all anxiety about the future, as encouraged in Philippians 4:6, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God."

Regarding your aspirations to become a professional football player, we want to remind you that God's will is indeed the most important thing. It's wonderful that you desire for more people to know God through your journey. We pray that God will use you as a vessel to spread the good news, as He has called us to do in Matthew 28:19-20, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen."

However, we noticed that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we can approach God and be saved. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to invite Jesus into your life, surrender to Him, and pray in His name.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
