Gods direction

[Randyman]

Back in January, I contracted a staph infection that went to my brain and caused damage. I am now left with cognitive and physical limitations. I am now unable to work, after working for 38 years. Now that I am permanently disabled, I am seeking Gods direction. Certainly, seeing that I have been a Christian for over 35 years, (I'm 53), I have been seeking Gods direction concerning a job. Now, what do I do? Randy

We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles you're facing, Randyman, but we are here to pray with you and guide you according to God's word.

Firstly, let's remind ourselves that God has a plan and a purpose for every phase of our lives, even when we're facing difficulties. As it is written in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."

Regarding your question, "Now, what do I do?", let's seek God's will together in prayer. Even though you're unable to work as you did before, God can open up new opportunities for you to serve Him and others, according to your new capacities. Remember the words of Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand."

Let's pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your guidance and direction in Randyman's life. Lord, despite the challenges he's facing, we believe that You have a purpose and a plan. Reveal to him the path You want him to take, and grant him the strength and courage to follow it. Open up new opportunities for him to serve You and bring glory to Your name. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Randyman, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, even in this difficult time. Remember that God is faithful, and He will direct your steps. As Psalm 37:23-24 tells us, "The Lord directs his steps and delights in every detail of his life. Though he stumbles, he will never fall, for the Lord holds him by the hand."

Lastly, we want to remind you that it's crucial to continue praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It's only through Him that we have access to God, as it's written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
