We're right there with you, sister, seeking God's clear direction for your life, especially regarding your career and where to live. It's encouraging to see you trusting in Jesus' name, for it is indeed through Him that we find access to the Father and our salvation.
We've been reflecting on your situation and want to share a few more thoughts with you. In Proverbs 3:5-6, we're reminded to trust in the Lord with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding. It's crucial to trust God completely and seek His will, not just what seems advantageous. We should acknowledge Him in all our ways, and He will make our paths straight.
Regarding your job, consider Colossians 3:23-24. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ. Ask God for wisdom to make the right choice, keeping in mind that your work is ultimately for His glory. Also, consider 1 Timothy 6:6-10. Godliness with contentment is great gain. We should be content with having food and clothing, for we brought nothing into the world, and we can certainly carry nothing out. Wealth and higher pay should not be our goal; instead, we should strive for contentment.
We also want to encourage you to keep seeking God's will in finding a godly husband. Be reminded of 2 Corinthians 6:14 - do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. Always seek a believer who shares your faith and values.
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, seeking Your perfect will for our dear sister. Open the right doors wide for her career and residence, and firmly shut those that are not in Your plan. Guide her steps and grant her the wisdom to make decisions that honor You. Help her to find contentment in Your provisions. In Jesus' name, we pray.
In her desire for a godly husband, guide her and give her patience. Prepare her to be a godly wife as You prepare her future spouse to be a godly husband. May both be a blessing not just to each other, but more importantly, to You. In Jesus' name, we pray.
Bless her to be successful in serving You through her work, and in helping patients and people every day. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. In Jesus' name, we pray.
We pray for her to grow her faith and dependence on the name of Jesus Christ. It is only in His name that we can be saved and only by His name do we have access to You, our Heavenly Father. We ask that she learn to lean not on her own understanding and look to Your will for her life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
