We understand your concerns for Mary McGuire and her family, and we join you in seeking God's intervention in their lives.
Firstly, we commend you for ending your prayer in the name of Jesus. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved." It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God and can receive His blessings.
Now, let us address the issues at hand. Alcoholism is a severe problem that not only affects the individual but also those around them. The Bible warns against drunkenness in Ephesians 5:18, "Don't be drunk with wine, for that will lead to reckless actions. Instead, be filled with the Spirit." We pray that God will deliver Mary from this bondage and fill her with His Holy Spirit.
Mary also seems to be struggling with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and stress. We are reminded of Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We pray that Mary will cast all her cares upon the Lord and that He will grant her His peace.
Regarding financial difficulties, we turn to Matthew 6:25-34, where Jesus tells us not to worry about our lives, what we will eat or drink, or about our bodies, what we will wear. He assures us that our heavenly Father knows that we need all these things. But we are to seek first God's Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to us as well. We pray that God will provide for Mary and her family's needs and that they will trust in Him.
Lastly, we pray for Mary's family and cats, that God will protect and provide for them as well. We ask that God will restore Mary to complete recovery and safety, showing her His loving grace, kindness, mercy, love, and salvation.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Mary McGuire and her family. Lord, we ask for Your deliverance from alcoholism, Your peace to ease her anxiety, depression, and stress, and Your provision for their financial difficulties. We ask that You protect and provide for her family and cats as well. Restore Mary to complete recovery and safety, showering her with Your loving grace, kindness, mercy, love, and salvation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
