We pray this prayer for you in Jesus name, amenWe understand your desire for godly and trustworthy friends, and we're here to pray with you and offer biblical guidance. Firstly, we're glad you're seeking friends who are saved, as Proverbs 12:26 (WEB) says, "The righteous is a guide to his neighbor, but the way of the wicked leads them astray." It's crucial to surround ourselves with people who will point us to righteousness.
However, we want to address the idea of meeting someone online. While it's not inherently wrong, we must be cautious. The Bible warns us to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16, WEB), meaning we should be wise in our interactions, especially with people we don't know well. Be mindful of the information you share and always be on guard for any red flags.
Regarding your prayer, it’s essential to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. As John 14:6 (WEB) states, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" It’s only through Jesus that we can approach God.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ. We ask for godly and trustworthy friends for our dear sister/brother. Guide them in their interactions, especially online, and grant them wisdom and discernment. If it is Your will, let them form lasting friendships that glorify You. Protect them from any harmful influences or deceitful people. above all, help them grow in their relationship with You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's will. Be rooted in His word, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
