Tralynn, we understand your deep need for a godly support system and we are here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. It's important to remember that God calls us to fellowship with one another, bearing each other's burdens and offering wise counsel. As it says in Galatians 6:2 WEB, Bear one anothers burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
Firstly, we commend you for your commitment to confidentiality and trustworthiness. This is a wonderful example of integrity and character.
Now, let's consider the words of 2 Corinthians 6:14-18:
As children of God, we need to be careful about who we allow to influence our lives.
Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness? What agreement has Christ with Beliar? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever? What agreement has a temple of God with idols? For you are a temple of the living God. Even as God said, 'I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they will be my people.
It is clear that we must surround ourselves with those who share our faith and values. We encourage you to seek out mature believers who can offer wise counsel and help you navigate the challenges you face. Consider Proverbs 27:17 WEB. As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.
We encourage you to look for such wise companions at biblical study groups, prayer meetings, volunteering opportunities, joining online gospel communities with a discerning eye, and fellowship events with the goal of making lasting godly friendships.
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear sister Tralynn. We ask that You surround her with a godly support system, people who are trustworthy and wise, who can offer guidance and fellowship. We pray in Jesus name according to Romans 8:28: We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Finally, we pray that she would be protected from unwise influences and dangerous people, and that You would guide her steps as she seeks out godly companions and you would give her a greater than normal amount of discernment.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Keep praying and trusting God for the right people, Tralynn. Wise counsel, fellowship, and protection may not happen overnight. He is always faithful and a friend closer than a brother.
