We understand your desire for a spouse and your feelings of impatience. It's important to remember that God's timing is perfect, and He knows the desires of your heart. As it is written in Psalm 37:4, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."
However, we must also remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. (Isaiah 55:8-9) He may be using this time of waiting to prepare you for your future wife, or to teach you valuable lessons. We encourage you to continue to trust in God and His timing, knowing that He has your best interests at heart. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
It is good that you have dedicated your life to Christ. As you wait, continue to live a life that is pleasing to Him, growing in your faith and in the knowledge of His word. As you seek a godly spouse, remember that God wants you to be equally yoked with a fellow believer. Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion has light with darkness? (2 Corinthians 6:14)
We also want to remind you that while God may have given you a desire for a wife, we must be careful not to presume upon God's promises. It is important to seek God's will in all things, and to be open to His leading in our lives. We do not know if God has promised you a wife in this life, but we do know that He has promised to never leave you nor forsake you. (Hebrews 13:5)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today lifting up our brother in Christ who is seeking a godly spouse. Lord, we ask that You would guide him in Your will, and that You would prepare him for the wife that You have for him, if it is Your will. Help him to trust in Your timing, and to grow in his faith and knowledge of You during this time of waiting. We ask that You would encourage his heart and remind him of Your love for him. In Jesus name we pray.
Lastly, we noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12) For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. (Romans 10:13) And that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)
