We understand your struggle, Gwenthyr, and we're here to support you in prayer and truth. We commend you for acknowledging your struggle and seeking deliverance in Jesus' name.
Let us remind you of what the Bible says about sexual sin: "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB). It's clear that sexual sin is serious, but God's mercy and power to deliver are greater.
We also need to address the specific issue of bisexual addictions. The Bible teaches that God's intended design for sexual relations is between a man and a woman within the bounds of marriage. As it says in Romans, "For this reason, God gave them up to vile passions. For their women changed the natural function into that which is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural function of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another, men doing what is inappropriate with men, and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error." (Romans 1:26-27, WEB). It's important to turn away from these desires and seek God's design for your life.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' mighty name, lifting up our brother Gwenthyr. We thank you for his honesty and desire to turn away from his sins. Lord, we ask for your forgiveness and cleansing power to wash away his sexual sins. By the power of the Holy Spirit, we pray for deliverance from these addictions and strong urges. Grant him the strength to flee from sexual immorality and to resist the temptations that come his way. Help him to renew his mind according to your Word, and to live a life that honors you and your design for his life. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, Gwenthyr, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB). Trust in God's faithfulness and His power to deliver you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and strive to live a life that honors Him.
