We understand that you have a desire to get married soon with the person you like the most, and you're also seeking a job this Friday. Let's address both concerns with biblical principles and prayer.
Firstly, we want to remind you that marriage is a sacred institution ordained by God, designed to be a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. It's not just about liking someone the most, but about finding a godly spouse who shares your faith and values. The Bible tells us, Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB. Therefore, as you consider marriage, ensure that the person you like is also a believer in Jesus Christ. We should only be in relationships that can lead to marriage as a Godly spouse. Anything outside of that is not pleasing to God.
Regarding your job search, remember that God provides for our needs according to His riches in glory. Trust in Him and His timing. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 WEB. Colossians 3:23 WEB Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men.
Now, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who desires to get married and find a job. First, we pray for their spiritual growth and maturity, that they may seek Your will above all else. Guide them to a godly spouse, someone who loves You and walks in Your ways. Help them to trust in Your timing and not rush into any decision that may not align with Your will.
We also pray for their job search. Open the right doors, Lord, and guide them to a position where they can use their gifts and talents for Your glory. Help them to trust in You and Your provision.
Lastly, we pray that they would know You more deeply, that they would call upon Your name, Jesus Christ, for it is only in Your name that we have access to God, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, and keep your faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. He has a good plan and purpose for your life. We are praying for you.
