We understand that you are seeking God's help in matters of marriage and expressing gratitude for your mother's curing. Firstly, we want to emphasize that it is wonderful to see gratitude expressed for the healing of your mother. It is important to note that all prayers and gratefulness should be directed to God, the Father, and can only be done through the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
In Acts 4:12 WEB it states, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up this beloved individual. Lord, we thank you for the healing of their mother. We know that every good and perfect gift comes from you, and we are grateful for your mercy and kindness that is new every morning.
Lord, we also bring before you the desire expressed for marriage. We pray that if it is your will, you would bring a godly spouse into this person's life, someone who loves you and seeks to serve you. We pray for a marriage that honors and glorifies your name, a union that is rooted in your love and truth.
Guide them through your Holy Spirit to someone who is also a believer in Jesus Christ. We know that it is through the name of Jesus that we have access to you, Father. Strengthen their faith in Jesus, and guide them according to your will in Jesus name.
In Jesus precious name we pray, Amen."
Regarding marriage, it is important to seek God's will and to be equally yoked with a fellow believer in Jesus Christ. In 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB, it states: "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"
As far as the decision of whom to marry, it is also important to wait upon God's timing and leading. In Isaiah 40:31 WEB, it states: "But those who wait for Yahweh, will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."
Trust in God's timing and do not rush ahead. Seek God and His kingdom first, and He will provide all of your needs according to His riches and glory in Christ Jesus.
In Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
