Let us first acknowledge that God's will is at the center of all things, including marriage. We are instructed in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, "In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you."

However, we must address that the request seems to approach marriage with a focus on personal desire rather than seeking God's will and aligning with biblical principles. Marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God to be between a man and a woman, as outlined in Genesis 2:24, "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh."

It is crucial to ensure that the desire for marriage aligns with God's standards and that the potential spouse is also a believer in Jesus Christ. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 6:14, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"

We also notice that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this individual who desires marriage. We pray that Your will be done in their life and that You guide them to the spouse You have prepared for them. Help them to seek You first and to trust in Your timing.

Lord, we ask for guidance in Jesus' name and believe he is the only way to you. We pray for salvation, that this person accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior if they have not already. We pray for a godly spouse and a marriage that honors You and Your principles.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
