Delight in the presence of God comes to us as a wonderful gift from heaven above to those souls that seek Him early in the morning, praying at midnight and at the end of the day giving thanks for a nights rest. Delight really is a choise that we make, to please or not please God. We must choose whom to serve, the world, the flesh or the devil. As for me and those who love the Lord, we shall forever serve Jesus who did wonders for all of us.
The Lord your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.
Zeph. 3.17
What a beautiful verse. What a wonderful promise coming from Jesus heart. He will save us from the wrath to come, He will take great delight in us as we serve and love Him all day long and all night long. He will quiet our troubled souls, when torments come and we are going through trials and tribulations, Jesus will calm us down and calm everything around us. Jesus will rejoice along with us when we sing praises to Him. Honor Him, praise Him, adore His holy name. He alone is worthy of all glory.
