We stand with you in prayer, Dweryall, as you seek God's restoration and healing in your life and marriage. We are reminded of Joel 2:25, "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the great locust, the grasshopper, and the caterpillar, my great army, which I sent among you." God is faithful and willing to restore all that the enemy has taken from us.
We are grateful that you acknowledged the power in the name of Jesus, as it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and can experience His forgiveness.
First, we pray for your personal restoration. Psalm 23:3 tells us, "He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake." May God restore your soul and lead you in the paths of righteousness.
Regarding your marriage, we pray for a godly restoration. Ephesians 5:22-33 outlines God's design for marriage, emphasizing the importance of love, submission, and respect between a husband and wife. We pray that both you and your husband will be filled with the knowledge of God's will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:9-10).
We also pray for forgiveness to flow between you and your husband, as it is commanded in Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you." Remember, forgiveness is a powerful force that can break down walls and heal even the deepest wounds.
Lastly, we pray for healing. Isaiah 53:5 reminds us, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." May God's healing power flow through your life and marriage, bringing restoration and peace.
Together, let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Dweryall and her husband. Lord, we ask for Your restoring power to flow into their lives and marriage. Heal their wounds, grant them forgiveness, and guide them in Your will. Help them to love and respect each other as You intend. We claim Your promises and believe that You are faithful to restore all that the enemy has taken. We can only come to the father through the name of Jesus. We pray that they can come to know Jesus more deeply and closely. We pray for a hedge of protection around their marriage and that any doors that were opened to the enemy are closed. We pray that they can believe in Jesus and confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that God raised him from the dead that they may be saved. We pray that they can know that they are a new creature in Christ and that old things have passed away and that all things have become new. We pray that they can know that by His stripes we were healed. I pray that they can know how they can have a better marriage through the word of God and draw closer to the Lord and each other through prayer. We pray all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
Be encouraged, Dweryall, as you wait upon the Lord and trust in His faithfulness. He is at work in your life and marriage, and He will bring restoration and healing as you continue to seek Him.
