Chris, we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your situation. We understand that you are feeling lonely and deeply care for ###. However, we must approach this with biblical principles in mind.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as He is our mediator and the way to the Father (John 14:6, WEB).
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ### and his feelings for ###. We ask that Your will be done in this situation. If ### is the one You have intended for ###, we pray that You would make a way for them to communicate and that their relationship would glorify You. If not, we ask that You would comfort ### and help him to trust in Your plan for his life."
Now, ###, we want to encourage you to trust God's timing and plan. The Bible tells us, "Delight yourself also in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD. Trust also in him, and he will do it." (Psalm 37:4-5, WEB).
However, we also want to gently remind you that if your relationship with ### is not centered around God and His principles, it might be causing more harm than good. The Bible teaches us not to be unequally yoked (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB), meaning we should seek relationships that draw us closer to God, not away from Him.
If you are not already, we encourage you to be in prayer about this relationship, asking God to direct your paths. Remember, God loves you deeply and wants the best for you. Trust in Him, and He will guide you. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).
Lastly, even in your loneliness, cling to God. He is always with you. "I will never leave you, nor forsake you." (Hebrews 13:5, WEB).
