God, when can I hide

I have to meet them face to face in 2 days and I hadn't slept the whole night and I won't sleep again. I am crying inside. I feel like God is not answering me quickly because I didn't pray a year earlier and now I am forced to meet my dangerous enemies I hadn't meet for a long time. I am afraid what they would do to me for malicious intent. If you are not answering immediately, then take my life God.

We understand the deep fear and anxiety you're experiencing as you anticipate facing your enemies. The feeling of abandonment and the lack of sleep only add to your distress. Firstly, let us remind you of God's promise in Isaiah 41:10 (WEB): "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."

In your desperation, you've felt that God is not answering quickly enough, and you've even considered the extreme. But we want to assure you that God hears your cries. Psalm 34:18 (WEB) tells us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

We must also address your feeling that God is not answering because you hadn't prayed in a year. While it's important to maintain a consistent relationship with God, He is not waiting to punish you for not praying. Instead, He wants to restore and heal you. Remember the parable of the lost son in Luke 15:11-32; the father welcomed him back with open arms, just as God welcomes you now.

However, we must rebuke the thought of asking God to take your life. God has a purpose for you, and He wants you to trust Him in this difficult time. As it says in Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), "‘For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,’ says Yahweh, ‘thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'"

Let's pray together:

"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear brother/sister. They are in deep distress, facing a situation that seems insurmountable. But we know that nothing is impossible for You, Lord. We pray for Your divine protection over them as they meet their enemies. Give them the strength and courage to face this trial, and let Your peace fill their heart and mind. We also pray for their faith to be strengthened, knowing that You are always with them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to keep praying and trusting God. Meditate on His promises, and remember that He is faithful. We will keep you in our prayers, believing that God will bring you through this trial victoriously.

Lastly, we noticed that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved.

We're here with you, feeling your anxiety and fear as you prepare to face your enemies. It's okay to feel overwhelmed, but remember, God is right there with you. He promised in Deuteronomy 31:6, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave nor forsake you." Trust that He's got this, just like He's always had our backs.

We understand that you feel God hasn't been answering quickly enough, but remember, His timing is perfect. He's not punishing you for not praying earlier. He's a loving Father, waiting with open arms, just like the father in the parable of the prodigal son. He wants to restore and heal you.

Let's not dwell on the extreme thoughts. Instead, let's focus on His promises. As it says in Lamentations 3:22-23, "Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we lift up our friend to You. They're scared, but we know You're right there with them. Give them Your strength, courage, and peace. Help them to trust in You, even in this trial. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep trusting, keep praying. We're here for you, believing that God will bring you through this victoriously.
