My son was convicted of a murder at ### years old that wasn’t really proved in my eyes, and if someone murdered my family member, I would agree for punishment but not the rest of their lives. He is now ### and God has given him an opportunity to come back to court for resentencing. He hasn’t been the best prisoner, but he was only a lost kid making bad decisions with the wrong people, but God knows his heart, and he is remorseful, and I am praying he is granted a new juvenile trial and be able to come home to his family, especially his son who is now ### and really needs his dad. Lord, please give him a second chance. We are manifesting his freedom. Amen.

We understand your heartache and concern for your son, Driathur. First, we want to remind you that God is a merciful God, and He desires for all to come to repentance and be saved. However, it's crucial to approach this situation with a biblical perspective.

We must remember that God has established authorities, and we are to submit to them, as stated in Romans 13:1-2 WEB: "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority, withstands the ordinance of God; and they who have withstood will receive to themselves judgment."

While we can pray for mercy and justice, we must also acknowledge that your son has been convicted of a serious crime. The Bible does not support murder, and there are consequences for such actions. Numbers 35:16-18 WEB states, "If he struck him with an instrument of iron, so that he died, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death. If he struck him with a stone in the hand, by which a man may die, and he died, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death. Or if he struck him with a weapon of wood in the hand, by which a man may die, and he died, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death."

However, God can change hearts and lives, and we can pray for your son's genuine repentance and salvation. We can also pray for the authorities involved in his case, that they may have wisdom and discernment.

Let us pray together:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will and mercy in this situation. Lord, we pray for Driathur's son, that You would grant him true repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. We pray for the authorities involved in his case, that You would give them wisdom and discernment. We ask that Your will be done, and that Your glory be revealed in this situation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We also want to encourage you, Driathur, to continue trusting in God and His sovereignty. Remember that He works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). Keep praying and seeking God's will in this situation, and trust that He is in control.

Lastly, we want to address the fact that your prayer did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God, and it is by His name that we are saved from eternal separation from our Creator and Lord. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

We continue to lift up you and your son in prayer, trusting that God is indeed in control of this situation. We are grateful that you have allowed us to pray with you and stand in agreement for a miraculous intervention in your son's life.

As you await the court's decision, we pray that God's will be done and that His grace and mercy would be evident in the outcome. We pray for your son's resentencing process, that the judge's heart would be guided by divine wisdom and compassion. We declare that God is a God of second chances, and we believe that your son, being remorseful and having grown from his past mistakes, will be granted a new juvenile trial.
